Metaverse fight league.
the story.

Metaverse Fight League is broadcasting live combat sports 3D holograms into video game environments, viewable by fans in the metaverse. 🥊 🎮

The MFL will use new, 3D sports hologram filming technology (most recently showcased in the NBA by the New Jersey Nets in January 2022) and will broadcast real fights in real-time into the metaverse: just think 'Black Mirror - Striking Vipers’ for combat sports!

Fans can hang out in MFL FIGHT CITY metaverse before and after fights, chat to friends and real fighters backstage, attend weigh-ins and press conferences, trade digital goods, attend parties, play side games and so much more...

In 2016, London-based tech entrepreneur James Hart discovered boxing prodigy Michael Romarate at a boxing camp in the Philippines.

Upon reaching the UK, Michael attained the backing of a multiple world champion boxing trainer who had high hopes for Michael to become a future world champion himself one day. What’s more, a Hall of Fame boxing promoter even had a fight lined up for him. But Michael’s dreams were suddenly crushed due to a lack of money in the sport to pay for his visa (along with dwindling viewers - we’re looking at you, Gen-Z!).

Fast forward four years to 2020 where James was watching the hugely successful event: Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. with commentary by Snoop Dogg, Jake Paul on the undercard and a whole fresh new production style. It was here where James realised that Gen-Z do, in fact, like combat sports - the old way just wasn’t relatable anymore. It was in need of a significant redesign!

And so the Metaverse Fight League was born: real fights, with real fighters, broadcast as holograms into the metaverse. Where Play2Earn, real-world/metaverse fan rewards are distributed to the community and sports governance is decentralised.

But can you guess who was signed as the first metaverse boxing superstar? Michael Romarate, of course ;)
